At present, Rushan has 458 health agencies, more than 2300 health workers, 1 grade-3 class-A general hospital, 1 grade-2 and class-A traditional Chinese medicine hospital, 14 township health centers, Yintan Second People’s Hospital and maternity and childcare hospital. Rushan has introduced some key projects such as Kaibo Medical Device and constructed a medical complex that integrates medical scientific research, rehabilitation and health care, physical examination and combination of medical treatment and endowment. There are three 4A-level scenic areas (Yintan, Daru Mountain, Furudonghai Cultural Park) and eight 3A-level scenic areas (Juyu Mountain, Duofu Mountain etc.) in Rushan. This is adequate resource guarantee for development of health & cultural tourism industry. Relying on the existing natural resource superiority and industrial basis, a health industry chain will be especially cultivated in the next step involving massive health, medical apparatus and instruments, intelligent health examination, health care garment, health care food etc. Besides, Rushan will push forward the construction of 3 characteristic towns of Taila Winery, oyster and Beizong Tea, pay adequate attention to the development of base-type projects of 17 characteristic blocks including Duoshan Apple, 8 model zones including coastal pastoral, Donghua Mountain pastoral complex, Jiaodong Borui Blueberry etc., attach importance to the development of Xiaotang Hot Spring, Tianrun Hot Spring etc., recommend red tourism projects of “three flowers” hometown, Jiaodong nursery, Mashi Mountain etc., construct island development projects of Xiaoqing Island, Nanhuang Island, Gongjia Island etc. and build the tourism resources of delicate farm villages and boutique homestay.
